NorthStar Energy Services - Huntersville, NC, a regional oil and gas contractor, is looking for an estimator. The position requires an energetic, self-starter with strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.


Job Title:    Administrative Assistant - Temp to Full Time

Job Description:
  • Must be motivated, able to work with little supervision
  • Prompt, organized and willing to work
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft applications - well versed in Excel and Word
  • Strong work ethic, the ability to multitask and to adjust to changing schedules and priorities with ease is desired
Skills Required:
  • Answering multi-line phone system, route calls appropriately
  • Checking faxes, messages, emails, etc.
  • Able to operate office equipment such as fax/copier/scanner machine
  • Filing and scanning documents to server
  • Meter Postage to all outgoing mail
  • Prepare Federal Express/UPS shipments as needed
  • Creating forms and spreadsheets in Excel
  • Greeting guests and applicants
  • Possess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in-person
  • Prepare new hire packets and drug screening packets.
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to work will with all levels of management
  • Possess good written and language skills
  • Internet and technology savvy; must be capable of quickly learning and utilizing multiple databases and websites, and performing online research
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Perform basic clerical duties, including projects
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
  • Candidate will fill in and help out with other office duties as required
  • Office experience helpful but not necessary, we are willing to train the right person
Physical Requirements:
  • Sit/stand/walk 8-10hr/day
  • Lift/carry/push/pull under and over 10 pounds occasionally
  • Keying frequency, handling, reaching, fine manipulation
Education Required:
  • High school Graduate
  • Bi-lingual preferred - Spanish
Salary Range:
  • $11-$14 per hour depending on skill level
